Our alpine hut is located at 1,750 m, surrounded by large alpine meadows and in the immediate vicinity of a beautiful pond. The view of the surrounding mountains, Latemar, Catinaccio, Sciliar, Corno Nero and Corno Bianco invites you to simply let your soul dangle. We will coddle you with local delicacies and seasonal specialties.
You can reach us, whether from Nova Ponente (Deutschnofen), or from Passo Lavaze (Lavazèjoch). From Passo Lavaze you can reach by a very simple hiking trail (about 30 minutes, also with a pram in summer) the Malga Costa.
In winter our hut offers cross-country skiing, hiking and sledging, or even snow shoe hiking. Sledging is only possible if snow conditions permit.
From the Lavazèjoch the cross-country ski run leads directly to the Liegalm and on foot you can reach us on a path through the snow-covered winter landscape.

The Malga-Costa-Team
1800 meters altitude. Just 500 meters from the Passo di Lavazè, 3 km from Oclini Pass, 10 Km from Cavalese and 25 Km from Bolzano. Surrounded by mountains, fir trees and pine trees. Stunning panorama.
Our mountain hut is characterized by family management, where hospitality and courtesy accompany relaxing days. The kitchen, genuine and cared for, is attentive to the needs of the customers who attend it: the dishes are therefore designed to satisfy every kind of taste; even our vegetarian guests. You can enjoy lunches, open air snacks or dinners on reservation. The area, accessible both by car and by the available public transport in the different seasons (free ski bus service in winter season and buses in summer) is the perfect starting point for hiking or nature walks.
Cross-country skiing, mountaineering, sledging, and the Tapis Roulant in the winter season are not enough. In the summer you can enjoy excursions, mountain biking, Nordic Walking and for lovers, sport fishing. The mountain hut is also equipped with a small farm to visit, where cows, hens and lambs will color your days. Ideal for families, couples and individual lovers of nature and genuineness.
The hotel for teenagers, sports groups and families
Located in the center of the Jochgrimm ski area, the Jugendhotel Schwarzhorn is the ideal accommodation for school trips and ski holidays. Surrounded by the beautiful scenery of the Dolomites and the seclusion are ideal conditions for a relaxing stay. Our house is an ideal starting point for hikes and sports activities. With its 2000m altitude and countless hiking trails and forest roads, the Jochgrimm offers perfect conditions for altitude training. Not far from the hotel there is also the Bletterbach gorge (GEOPARC Bletterbach).
